FAQ

  • Can I get coverage if I'm in my studio as well as on site?

    Yes. Our plans include on/off premesis coverage so if you own or rent your studio and have a shoot away from your studio, however much in gear you have covered at your studio still will be covered on or off your studio premesis. 

  • Can I change coverage for just one shoot at a time?

    • No. For exampl, if you need a larger amount of coverage on a specific shoot but that shoot is for just a week and the rest of the year you only need 1/3 of that. (ie $100,000 for the week and $33,000 for the rest of the year) you can't decrease your coveage for the rest of the year. You have to keep $100,000 till your renewal. 

  • Can I add cyber coveage to my policy?

    This doesn't come up as much, however some people photographers with larger amounts of shoots and more public exposure may be at risk of getting hacked. Also you might be at risk if you connect to public wifi's often. We recommend using StarLink (Elon Musk) since it's Nationwidei coverage is with Satelites. This is excellent and virtually zero risk of getting hacked. 

  • Do you also do auto and home insurance?

    Yes. We do offer auto, home, health insurance and more. If you need a quote we do offer other insurance for our customers. 

  • How do I get a certificate of insurance?

    You can email us at photographers@burkholz-insurance.com and any of our agents will get in touch with you to get your cert to you by the end of the day.
